My stand
“My stand” is your personal workspace: you keep the pieces you are working on close at hand, each in a tab, as in the run. Your stand stays on this device; nobody else sees it. It works the same way for a manager and for a member.
Opening pieces
When your stand is empty, it offers:
- the “Next concert”: open all its pieces in one go;
- the “Recently viewed programmes” and “Recently viewed pieces”;
- a search (“Open a piece”): type a title, a composer or a programme name.
Choosing a programme offers to open all its pieces, one per tab; pieces that are already open are not duplicated.
From the other screens:
- in “Repertoire”, a piece’s menu offers “Add to my stand” (or “View in my stand” if it is already there);
- in a programme, “Open in my stand” opens all its pieces.
Managing tabs
- On a tablet or computer, the tabs are lined up at the top. Drag a tab to move it. The active tab’s menu offers “Close”, “Close others” and “Close all”.
- On a phone, a selector (“2 / 4”) opens the list of open tabs.
A piece deleted from the repertoire disappears from your stand, with a message.
The piece tools
The active tab shows the piece as in the run, and nothing else. All the controls are behind the ⋯ button at the top right of the reading area: “Piece tools”.
At the top of the panel, the piece’s title and composer, with “Edit” (opens the piece, to edit it if you are allowed to) and “Details”. The tools then come in three groups:
“Read”
- “Document”: choose the document shown (text, PDF, interactive score…). The one for your part is marked “My part”.
- “My part”: your part in this piece, and “Highlight my part”.
- “Staves shown”: the staves to show on an interactive score.
- “Annotations”: show the layers and “Annotate” (see Annotating a score).
- “Zoom”.
“Hear”
- “Starting notes”: each part’s note, the opening “Chord” and “Arpeggio”.
- “Play the score”: playback of the interactive score, with pause.
- “Parts heard”: the parts console (see Choosing the parts you hear and the instruments).
- “Chromatic pitch pipe”: any note, at the pitch of the ensemble’s diapason.
“Change”
- “Transpose”: transposes the score and the starting notes for this session, without saving anything. “Reset” goes back to the planned key.
Only the controls that apply to the document shown appear. Escape closes the panel.
My stand or run mode?
- My stand: to work on your own, at your pace, on the pieces of your choice, in the app’s usual theme.
- Run mode: to go through a programme in order, in rehearsal or on stage, with “Stage mode”.
